Feather River Steelhead Fly Fishing Guide

The Feather River near Oroville, California has good numbers of feisty fall-run steelhead.  They follow the salmon up the river, so late October into November is the ideal time to fish for them. Feather River steelhead fly fishing guide Kevin Brock will lead you to them.

These Feather River steelhead are often between 4-8 pounds. They are very aggressive, and a lot of fun to fight. Float trips are the ideal way to reach the riffles and runs where the steelhead are waiting.

This type of fly fishing is on the advanced side, and recommended for skilled or expert fishermen.
