Smith River Steelhead

We start off the year on the scenic Smith River. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the National Redwood Forest as you drift down one of the last undammed rivers in California, where there are no motors allowed, while casting for the most sought after sport fish in the industry.

The wild steelhead trout is one of the most exciting fish to have at the end of your line. Due to the proximity of the ocean, these fish are extremely energetic and aggressive.

These steelhead are in a class of their own and average around 10 lbs, although 20 lb fish are boated every year.

Kevin Brock's Guide Service is operated under Special Use permit with the Six Rivers National Forest and is an equal opportuity provider.
